Principal's Message

A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I am thrilled to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you. My name is Jamie Bacon, and I have the distinct honor of serving as the Principal of Three Rivers Elementary.

For those who may not know me yet, I am proud to say that I'm a Pasco High School graduate, and my roots in this vibrant community run deep. I've had the privilege of serving the Pasco community for the past 25 years in various roles within the Pasco School District. Beginning my tenth year as an administrator, I am particularly excited to lead this extraordinary school, where our primary mission is to provide high levels of learning for ALL of our remarkable Chinooks.

At Three Rivers, we are not just a school; we are a community of dedicated educators who firmly believe in the idea that "Chinooks swim together." This belief underpins our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

We are proud to operate as a Professional Learning Community (PLC), ensuring that our professional learning teams (PLTs) collaborate to determine the best ways to teach each individual child. Our shared goal is to achieve the greatest possible learning outcome for ALL our students. Together, we create an atmosphere where our Chinooks can learn, grow, create, and persevere.

But we don't stop at academics alone. We focus on the holistic development of our students. Our collaboration extends to our school counselor and behavior interventionist as we work to support our students in becoming successful not only in the present but in shaping them into successful individuals for the future.

I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve this incredible school, and I'm eager to partner with you, our parents and guardians, in your child's education this school year. Your involvement, support, and active participation are invaluable as we work together to nurture the bright futures of our Chinooks.

As we begin this new chapter, let us embrace the challenges, opportunities, and adventures that the 2023-24 school year holds. Together, as a united Three Rivers family, we can achieve greatness and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
