Three Rivers Elementary Excels at First Math is Cool Competition
Three Rivers Elementary recently participated in their first-ever Math is Cool competition on March 14 at Carmichael Middle School in Richland, and their debut was nothing short of impressive!
Under the guidance of Mr. Schmahl, the 4th Grade Math is Cool team showcased their problem-solving skills and mathematical expertise, earning an outstanding 2nd place finish in the competition. Among the individual competitors, Oliver McRoberts placed 1st out of 94 fourth-grade participants, a remarkable achievement in a highly competitive field.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to hearing if they qualify for the state competition in Moses Lake this April.
